Parental contributions – or parental donations – is a way of supplementing the IT spend within schools. It enables pupils of all ages to have their Chromebook or Laptop.

A parental contribution scheme is easy to set up. My Laptop Shop Ltd can provide advice, guidance and manage the scheme for you too. Ensuring that you do not have any additional administration burden.

Since 2014 My Laptop Shop Ltd has worked with hundreds of schools and academies to provide value add asset life cycle services.

We already run a 1:1 Laptop Device Scheme (DaaS) in Ghana and have put thousands of refurbished laptops in the hand of students in Montessori schools. This is a parent contribution scheme and devices are owned at the end of the term.

As the scheme has evolved we are offering NEW low cost Windows 10 or Chromebook Education devices 1:1 to students. This is an affordable monthly cost for a 1,2 or 3 year parental contribution solution with warranty & insurance included, delivered through schools using existing payment application software.

We also offer a popular laptop personalisation service, which adds the school logo to the lid and for security and identification purposes.

We’re keen to speak to any local authority or educational establishment who might be interested in obtaining devices for their students. Please contact me directly on kim@mylaptop-shop.co.uk
