Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA)
The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) covers a wide range of leadership and management skills, including School Business Leadership and Transforming Schools as well as the opportunity to gain a degree. As part of the course you will complete work-based projects that could help you to address current challenges within your school.
School Business Professionals Apprenticeship (SBPA)
The SBM Level 4 trailblazers employers’ group, which included Serco, has developed a Level 4 School Business Professional apprenticeship which was launched in 2018. It offers a school-based higher apprenticeship for school business professionals and others in school support roles, e.g. senior administrators, school office managers, finance officers, bursars, etc. Alongside this apprenticeship it is also possible for apprentices to gain a Level 4 diploma with the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship (TAA)
Serco Education’s latest apprenticeship offering is suitable for people are already working in an educational setting where you are supporting teaching and learning. Apprentices will be given the opportunity to gain a recognised professional qualification which meets the standards of Training Qualification UK (TQUK). You will be invited to a number of workshops that will teach you the fundamentals of being a Teaching Assistant and we will support you further by allocating you an experienced coach, who will communicate with you both face-to-face and remotely.
