Patrick Hayes, director of BESA and chair of judges for the Bett Awards, said: “This year we had more entries than ever before from all over the globe, and our panel of esteemed judges had an incredibly hard time to select the winners – even harder than usual!
“To be shortlisted is a great achievement in itself, but to be crowned a Bett Awards winner at such a time of global edtech innovation is something to truly celebrate. On behalf of all the judges, I would like to congratulate the winning companies – their teams should be extremely proud of receiving an accolade that is recognised by schools across the world.”
Simon Presswell, managing director, broadcast & education at Ascential Events added: “Technology sector growth in the UK outpaces that in many other countries, and some of the most exciting and effective innovation is in edtech. As exports of our expertise continue to increase, the Bett Awards play an increasingly vital role in helping educators to identify the very best products, services and people that are helping to transform education, not just in the UK but globally.”
