Rarely in modern times has been more pressure on school budgets in England – back in December the National Audit Office stated that institutions will need to find savings of £3 billion by 2019/20.

That was in the face of eight per cent budget cuts and against a background of nearly two-thirds of secondary schools already running at a deficit at that time.

All of which means there is huge pressure on schools to spend their procurement budgets extremely carefully. Schools need value for money and partnerships with only the most trusted suppliers in the market.

That’s where the Education Forum comes into play. Taking place on November 20th & 21st 2017 at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel, the event is organised specifically for those directly responsible for the purchasing of facilities and technology for education institutions.

Delegates are given a carefully planned itinerary that ensures their time spent at the event is worthwhile – they meet, share and connect with suppliers relevant to their current and forthcoming needs in matchmade meetings.

And there are copious learning opportunities available via the seminar programme, which this year is specifically addressing managing finance and funding under budgetary pressures.

Continuing the budgetary theme, the Education Forum is completely free to attend for qualifying professionals.

In short, if you’re a headteacher, head of ICT, head of digital learning, head of curriculum, head of IT or a bursar within primary, secondary, independent, higher or university education, then the companies, contacts and technology you need to take your institution to the next level can be found at the Education Forum.

    To RSVP, contact Clare Element on 01992 374 068 / c.element@forumevents.co.uk.

Alternatively, if you’re an education supplier and would like to present your solutions as part of the Education Forum, contact Haydn Boxall on 01992 374 084 / h.boxall@forumevents.co.uk.
