Education may be a key battleground in the run-up to the General Election, but at present cuts are one of the biggest issues facing schools and universities across the UK.

Research released in early-April this year by the NUT and ATL unions indicates that 93 per cent of members polled (half were from secondary schools) were ‘pessimistic’ about funding levels going forward.

Furthermore, 76 per cent said their school’s budget had been cut already in 2017, with 73 per cent stating there had been cuts to books and equipment.

All of which means there is huge pressure on schools to spend their procurement budgets extremely carefully. Schools need value for money and partnerships with only the most trusted suppliers in the market.

That’s where the Education Forum comes into play. Taking place on November 20th & 21st 2017 at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel, Northamptonshire, the event is organised specifically for those directly responsible for the purchasing of facilities and technology for education institutions.

To register your free place at the event, contact Clare Element on 01992 374 068 / c.element@forumevents.co.uk or visit www.education-forum.co.uk to register.

Alternatively, if you’re an education supplier and would like to present your solutions as part of the Education Forum, contact Haydn Boxall on 01992 374 084 / h.boxall@forumevents.co.uk.
